Comprehensive Health Data Integration and Interoperability

The Calcium Digital Health Platform allows providers, patients and consumers to get a more robust view of their health by integrating all of their health data from electronic health records to data from medical devices and health apps.

Prednisone is a synthetic corticosteroid drug that mimics cortisol to reduce inflammation and suppress the immune system. The body converts prednisone into its active form, prednisolone, which then works inside cells to alter gene expression and block inflammatory proteins. It is used to treat a wide range of conditions, including severe allergies, asthma, arthritis, and autoimmune diseases like lupus. Common side effects from long-term use include weight gain, high blood sugar, osteoporosis, and an increased risk of infections. You can buy Prednisone in the USA online without a prescription at pain-relief-med.com.

Your Health Doesn’t Live in One System

Healthcare information is fragmented.

Medical records may be distributed among hospitals, health systems, physician practices and different EHR platforms. Meanwhile, an increasing amount of valuable health information is generated outside the doctor’s office through smartwatches, health apps, fitness platforms and connected medical devices.

That leaves providers and individuals trying to assemble a health story from disconnected pieces.

Scattered Medical Records

Important clinical information can reside across multiple healthcare organizations and EHR environments.

Disconnected Devices

Blood pressure monitors, glucose devices, scales and other connected technologies can generate valuable information outside clinical encounters.

Siloed Health Apps

Activity, sleep, nutrition, heart rate and other health information may be spread across multiple apps and platforms.

Incomplete Health Picture

Clinical records show what happens during healthcare. Personal health technologies can provide insight into what happens between healthcare encounters.

One Platform. A More Complete View of Health.

Calcium connects clinical health information with consumer-authorized health data to create a richer, more longitudinal view of the individual.

CommonWell-Care Quality Alliance: Real-Time EHR Interoperability

Calcium connects to the CommonWell Health Alliance, a nationwide interoperability network that enables participating healthcare organizations to securely locate, exchange and retrieve patient health records across different EHR systems. CommonWell-connected products include major platforms such as Oracle Health, athenahealth and Greenway Health.

CommonWell is also a Carequality Implementer, extending Calcium’s reach to participating healthcare organizations outside the CommonWell network, including organizations using platforms such as Epic and eClinicalWorks. Together, these interconnected networks help Calcium retrieve available EHR data across a broad ecosystem of hospitals, health systems, physician practices and other healthcare providers nationwide.

TEFCA: Nationwide Health Information Exchange

Calcium extends its EHR connectivity through TEFCA—the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement, a nationwide framework designed to enable secure health information exchange across participating healthcare networks. At the center of TEFCA are Qualified Health Information Networks (QHINs), which connect healthcare organizations and other participants under common technical and governance standards.

CommonWell Health Alliance is a designated QHIN and serves as Calcium’s connection to TEFCA. Through CommonWell, Calcium can retrieve available patient EHR data exchanged across participating QHINs and their connected healthcare organizations—further expanding access to clinical information from hospitals, health systems and providers nationwide.

Wearables Health App Data

From Apple Watch and Fitbit to Oura rings, smart bands, heart rate monitors and other emerging wearable technologies, consumers are generating more health and wellness data than ever. Calcium helps bring that information together.

The Calcium Digital Health Super App integrates data from popular wearables and connected health ecosystems, giving users a more complete view of activity, heart rate, sleep and other health metrics. Instead of navigating multiple apps and disconnected data streams, users can monitor trends alongside their broader health information—turning everyday wearable data into meaningful insights that can support personal health goals and better-informed healthcare decisions.

Home Health & Personal Medical Device Data

Calcium connects with a wide range of home medical devices, wearables and personal health technologies to make everyday health data more useful. Users can bring measurements such as blood pressure, glucose, weight, body composition, temperature, heart rate, activity, sleep and other health metrics into the Calcium Super App—automatically where supported or through connected health ecosystems.

This creates a more complete, continuously updated view of personal health. Instead of leaving device data isolated in separate apps, Calcium helps users organize it alongside medical records and other health information, track trends over time and securely share relevant insights with their care teams.
