Learn More About Open Roles and Partnership Opportunities

Calcium, a digital health analytics company and creator of the world’s first consumer-driven health platform, today announced the formal launch of its headquarters in Chicago. The news follows a year of strong business growth and momentum for the company’s people-driven health movement. The new space has been designed to support over 20 new roles Calcium is seeking to fill, as well as a variety of partnership opportunities for data, technology and health-focused companies that complement its mission to empower consumers to own their health data and destiny.

The company’s new 7,600 square-foot offices are located at 125 S. Wacker Drive, Suite 2080. Victor Sanmiguel, co-founder and chief deal officer, at Bespoke Commercial Real Estate, led the deal.

“Calcium was recently recognized as one of Built In Chicago’s Top 50 Startups to Watch of 2020 and is precisely the type of company we are proud to serve,” said Sanmiguel. “Calcium’s mission is gaining momentum nationally as the company grows its user base of ‘health champions’ and forges new partnerships with other leading companies in the health data space, including personal health data platform Validic. What the company is doing is important to the country and even better for Chicago.”

Calcium CEO, Terrence Ryan, will lead the Chicago office. Named one of Crain’s Chicago Notable Entrepreneurs in 2019, Ryan has over 20 years of experience building successful health technology companies in the Chicago, national, and global markets. Ryan is an active member of the Chicago entrepreneurial community, serving on the boards of Alligatortek, EventQue, People Tiles, and Nousot.  Prior to founding Calcium, Ryan was founder and CEO of LaunchPoint/Discovery Health Partners, which operates businesses that provide cloud-based analytic solutions and services for healthcare enterprises. Before that, he founded yet another Chicago-based consultancy Knightsbridge Solutions which was acquired by Hewlett Packard.

“Chicago is an excellent home for Calcium’s headquarters,” says Ryan. “The city offers a supportive seed community for startups, a rich talent pool and a great quality of life. We are excited to grow our team in a location that offers a wealth of resources for both our company and our employees as we execute on our vision to fundamentally change the healthcare paradigm by giving people control of their individual health journeys and destinies.’
